I got tickets!!!!! I and a friend are going to see The Police Reunion tour. I have loved the Police before I even liked boys. I wrote Sting at 17 and begged him to go to prom with me , because of course...there were no intelligent guys in Auburn. That's what I wrote to him. I just realized today he is the same age as my mother. Ewww . I can't wait I hope they read my blog and decide to play Bring on the Night.. Please!!

I pulled them out of school at 12:30 to see Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. Gabe sang the song the whole time, the girls thought they were in big trouble.. It was awesome!!!

The construction guys actually had to tell me to come back after hours..I go there almost daily..I try to wait for Saturdays , but it's so hard. The cabinets are all in, the coutertops are all on. It's painted on the outside. We just need light fixtures, flooring (they prepped the floors :')) and grass. 1 Month to go!

I did It!! I turned that whole shelf of clippings, books and magazines into this awesome book.

Ok, so intially I thought great idea, but I wasn't too sure if it would be useful really..or if it was just trying to be crafty. Once I began going through that whole shelf of cooking tips and aids and recipes..I have no idea how many times I've had to find "spice rubbed Turkey" or " Cranberry Stuffing" or "where's that mashed potato recipe I used last year" Now, it's all under "Holiday"

You can see perfect potatoes have been through a couple meals. I was thinking I should print out new ones so it would be all nice but then I though THIS IS A COOK BOOK...not a decor book. It better be used and messy.

I put every tip I had saved about how to sear steaks, what different potatoes taste like, which salts are good for what...How to cook meats (temps , how to check for doneness). I'm hoping the girls want to fight over this book when they are older. Ana said she has dibs..

My Household Manual

I took a whole Saturday , found sheets I love and re created a very very useful manual. You see above the outside of my manual. Below week at a view, I found at momadgenda.com awesome and cute.




I do use Flylady zones for daily cleaning. so on my daily schedule page (it's write on /wipe off) I just list 1 zone a day laundry for each person is in the zone, so 1 person's laundry a day. I use those 4 spots at the bottom for each kids stuff, lessons etc. the top is for me and Ben.



I plan my menus every 2 weeks , I liked this one because it has my shopping list below. I just slip these in and out every 2 weeks, no one asks "what's for dinner?" These are here

I had to share because I really love this thing, there's a babysitter info page, all medical info page, we have a school section with all the school numbers schedules etc. there's a family section with everyone's addresses and phone and emails.. you name it it's here..they almost don't need me...hmmm
